there are some shortcuts, and undo is a thing in the new wip version, which is being made in C++ instead of GML. the current released version isnt that great i will admit
i like it so far but i want proper graphics tablet support (there's a weird bug where i start drawing and the line actually showing up is delayed by a second but if i use a mouse or a trackpad, it's fine)
thats an issue with windows ink, you can try disabling that. ill try to implement tablet support somehow in the next uodate but no promises. windows is just trash and hates doing things in a way that makes sense.
If you add an import image option, a undo option and a stabilizer for tablets (that's not too necessary but...) the program will more perfect and comfortable than it already is :D!
I have a question, will there ever be a version available for Linux that I won't need to buggily run through Wine? Again, this is amazing and you can tell a lot of effort and love was poured into this. Just curious qwq
Hello! i really loved to use Clipnote, its amazing and its very easy to animate! but i am having a little problem with it, i was looking at the window settings and i dont know how to change it back, since i can't click at the settings option ;v But its a really great sofware, you are amazing, thanks for working so hard on this, i really loved it!

I can select all the tools and brushes, but when I try to write or draw something, I can't. I'm a user of Windows 10. I don't use tablets, I only draw with mouse.... How can I do with this? I'm so confused because I and not sure how to select and use brushes. So, please tell me how to deal with this.
Also, when you update this someday, can i have an alert or a messege about an update? And when you update, do I have to download a new updated version of Clipnote Studio?

you will have to download the new version whenever that comes out, and you can get notified of new version through our twitter which is linked on the store page. as for the not being able to draw, you might not have the menu closed, try pressing TAB to open and close the menu.
I got another suggestion, maybe have the ability to add layers? having only three can be irritating for me trying to make animations such as with different parts on each layer or something. A fill tool would also be nice but I hear you're doing that. Also are custom colors such as like kekeflipnote and his orange color? Thanks.
as far as i know keke doesnt use custom colors with his flipnote animations. the max amount of layers in the next update will be 4, no more no less. a fill tool is in the works. and custom colors will be a thing, you will be able to pick up to 8 different colors in the next update

When I was making an animation I accidentally closed the program without saving.
So I was thinking, maybe before you actually close the app during an animation, it should ask you if you want to close, there may be unsaved progress. Or auto-saving would be really appreciated

Ok, I´m in love with this, I made my first animation and it's very cool all the colors that u can made, but dear Author, Could u please add the fill tool and something that I would like very much, the loop (or the magic tie xD) that serves to seal and move the drawing. Oh and another note, if you can also fix the audio, like being able to see or cut the audio, since it is somewhat complicated to be able to adjust it to the drawing.
I'm absolutely loving the program, here's my first(/a test) doodle in it when I was messing around.
However, I want to address some issues I had with it...
Can you make an option removing the cursor details..? I do like the colorful cursor and, the spinning parts it has I do but, after a while, it gets really hard for me to focus on the cursor itself and, the colorful nature of it makes it hard to see... I don't care if the cursor is black or, grey, I just can't see it personally and, in general it really hurts my eyes now, I'm aware this is a bit of a nit pick but, I just had to bring it up.
Also, do you think you'll add a fill tool? I'm aware of the undo(/redo) button is a feature people want as well but, I'm personally curious of a fill tool( now to be honest I'm not sure if Flipnote even had a fill tool in the first place so, this also might be a nit pick).
not nit picks at all! all those things will be addressed eventually. im not satisfied with the cursor as is, so that will be getting a face lift. and i am planning on adding a fill tool!

this sucks the cursor should not give you a seizure when you draw. Just make it a dot.
ive fixed that for the next version, making it a dot doesnt work too well imo, but it will be an option in the next update

all files are saved in your appdata directory, you can use papclip, which is linked on our store page, to convert clipnotes into other formats

Is there a support for digital tablet? If no, it will be? When I try to use my tablet it takes a while to start drawing in the aplication.

new versions are developed with c++ on linux, so yes native linux support will be a thing

Do you know how to delete notes?
GML doesnt allow for proper file deletion, so you currently have to go into the appdata folder and delete them manually
Wheres is it exactly in the Appdata folder?
there should be a folder named clipnote in the appdatas roaming folder. you can find it easily by typing %appdata% into your start bar
